Kinja'd!!!

Looks like the toe was all messed up.

After all the fuss they completed it and called me 1:30 before it was even scheduled to go in.

I personally would not be pleased with a whole degree of rear cross-camber (but I’m picky like that). Sure, it is “in spec”, but that is a pretty wide allowable tolerance, in my opinion.

just shy of specs, no biggie. Don’t let the red fool ya. A simple test drive around the block will move the numbers again

Could be worse. After slamming into a monster hole on a dark street, this was my chart:

Kinja'd!!!

It needed more than an alignment.

What can do about it?

It has been eating drivers front tires.

Feels better but that could be placebo

It should be adjusted to being it more in spec, or at least make it more equal to each other.

I believe that on this generation the camber is not adjustable in the rear, so not a hole lot without buying adjustable lower control arms

Me too, but a lot of Subaru’s don’t come with any adjustment for the rear. Not sure about this generation of Foresters.

The issue with this (on a daily or regular car) is you then have to find a shop that is competent enough not to completely fuck things up when using camber bolts AND likely pay more for a “race alignment” due to using non-OE equipment. I had bolts and camber bushings on one of my Subarus and regretted it constantly.

When I lifted mine I had no choice to get negative camber back in the rears.... but then again I did my own alignment.

God that is so lazy. It takes maybe 30 seconds to make sure the toe is exact on each side.

This is why I do the damn alignment myself.

You can do mine if you want haha. I don’t have the equipment to do it myself.

That’s what they were saying any more adjustment would get much more expensive.

I’d be happy to work on any Oppo member’s car for free.

Yeah and as long as toe is near zero (prolly a little toe in for a daily) you’re not going to have any issues.

If you were to go to a race alignment shop and have the work done you could probably loosten the rear sub-frame and jerk it around to “fix” the camber. This would probably cost as much as getting adjustable lower control arms through and is just not necessary (it is the sort of thing that street class autoX weenies do)
